Price CSI launches data platform to help communities promote better quality of life

The USC Sol Price Center for Social Innovation (CSI) launched its Neighborhood Data for Social Change(NDSC) platform, a free, publicly available online resource to empower civic actors with the neighborhood data they need to advocate for a better quality of life within their communities. Former White House official Sonal Shah emphasizes social innovation’s significance

Why is social innovation more relevant today than eight years ago? Sonal Shah, executive director of the Beeck Center at Georgetown and founder of the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation, gave many compelling reasons during an Oct. 5 social innovation research talk, hosted by the Sol Price Center for Social Innovation at the USC Price School of Public Policy.
