Apply to the Southern California Symposium

Thank you for your interest in the Southern California Symposium. In order to be considered for admission, this application must be submitted along with the requested documents.

Application Deadline

Deadline for submission of all admissions and fee reduction documents: December 31, 2018.

 


Application Checklist

The following items are required in order to complete the application process:

  • Application for admission
  • Current resume
  • Personal statement
  • Credit card authorization form for $250 application fee (waived if your application is received before December 1, 2018)

The application will not be considered complete until all of the required documents have been received. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. Applicants are asked to submit all of the required documents in one package to ensure receipt of a complete file.

 


Program Fee

The fee for the Southern California Symposium is $5,000. This will cover registration fees, course materials, all meals, and special evening events. The fee also includes invitations to continuing education seminars and events at the USC Price Center for Social Innovation. Fee reduction may be available (see application form).

 

Admission Process

The Southern California Symposium uses a rolling admission process. Applications can be submitted at any time before the session deadline. Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received, and decisions can be rendered at any time. All decisions are final. Early submission of applications is strongly encouraged. The $250 application fee will be waived for applications received by December 1, 2018.

 

Submitting the Application

There are two convenient methods for applying to the Southern California Symposium: online and by mail.

Online: For online applications, please complete the form below. You will be asked to upload your personal statement, resume, and credit card authorization form and cannot submit the online form without attaching those documents. The Southern California Symposium strongly recommends that candidates apply online.

Mail: If you are unable to complete an online application, applications may be submitted via U.S. Mail, FedEx, UPS, or email. Complete application packets should be sent to the following address:
