Cynthia Miller

Cynthia Miller is an economist whose current work focuses on policies and programs to increase the employment and earnings of low-wage workers and disadvantaged youth. She is the project director for the YouthBuild evaluation, which is studying the effects of YouthBuild on disadvantaged youth using data from nearly 80 programs around the country. She is also a lead investigator on the Family Rewards Opportunity NYC Project, the first test of a Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program in the United States, and research director for the CCT replication study funded by the Social Innovation Fund. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University.
