Revitalizing Fairmont Corridor

For the Spring 2014 course San Diego’s new Planning Director William Fulton—a nationally recognized planner, lecturer, author, and senior fellow at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy—led a City Heights planning studio for USC graduate students.  The studio focused on revitalizing the Fairmont corridor between University Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard.  Together with Fulton, students examined the potential role of streetscape and infrastructure investments in catalyzing private investment and connecting the City Heights town square to the new YMCA.
