On September 17, Walter “Woody” Powell, Mike Ananny, and Nina Eliasoph, select authors of The Nonprofit Sector: A Research Handbook, were featured in the Price Center’s Social Innovation Speaker Series on Zoom. This event was co-sponsored by the USC Center for Philanthropy and Public Policy and the Price School’s Department of Governance and Management.
The discussion focused on the history of the nonprofit and philanthropy sector. The authors also discussed cross-sector collaboration and the role of government, business, and the media in supporting civic life and social purpose.
