On March 11, Price Center Director Dr. Gary Painter was a panelist for this discussion as part of USC’s DEI Week 2021. This year, USC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Week discussed Diversity United: Race, Social Justice and the Future of American Equality—a theme that deeply resonated with our community.
Crises in the US have once again put a spotlight on the racial inequities that exist across policy domains, including health and housing. This panel discussion will explore how an equity lens is applied to solutions to aid in our recovery from the economic downturn, COVID-19, and the housing shortage.
Moderator: LaVonna B. Lewis, Teaching Professor of Public Policy; Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, USC Price School of Public Policy.
