Eli Keunyoung Lee is a first-year Master of Public Administration student at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. Eli is originally from South Korea and completed his undergraduate study at Waseda University (Japan) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Eli also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Seoul National University (South Korea). Based on the educational background, Lee’s research interest has been in the prosocial motivation of public servants as well as in the non-profit sector.
Prior to joining the Price Center for Social Innovation, Eli worked as a founder/leader of an organization called, “Nesal-Nessal”, one of the leading Korean social enterprises that deal with social problems such as income disparity and urban decay. To be more specific, Nesal-Nessal tries to provide solutions to adult obesity and food hunger for children collectively through a variety of programs. In his free time, Eli is interested in making new cocktails, playing basketball, and traveling.
