Kate Curry is a freshman double majoring in International Relations and French at USC. She previously interned for the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, where she developed an interest in policy making and methods for increasing access to higher education for disadvantaged populations. She actively volunteers with the Joint Educational Project teaching Los Angeles middle-schoolers and serves as a social chair for Delta Phi Epsilon, USC’s professional foreign service fraternity. Kate studied for 9 months in Rennes, France in high school and hopes to join the Peace Corps upon graduation before continuing her studies in graduate school.
