Megan Goulding serves as the Head of Strategy and External Relations for the USC Price Center for Social Innovation, where she leads all fundraising and communications activities for the Price Center. Additionally, she oversees the development and creation of the Price Center’s content and initiatives in social innovation.
Prior to joining the USC Sol Price Center for Social Innovation, Megan managed fundraising and communication strategies for USC University Relations, where she supported the university’s community outreach programs focused on education and college access, health outreach, and economic development. She previously served as the Director of Development and Strategic Communications for the USC Price School of Public Policy. In this role, she developed the school’s first corporate and foundation giving program, and designed multifaceted communication strategies to highlight faculty research, student accomplishments, and policy impact.
Megan is a fifth year doctoral student in the USC Price School’s Doctor of Policy, Planning, and Development Program, where she is conducting original research on philanthropic foundations that support new models of impact investing, such as social impact bonds (pay for success). She also teaches an undergraduate course in social innovation as an Adjunct Faculty member. Megan holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the USC Price School of Public Policy and an undergraduate degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach.
