Yeshi is a Master of Public Policy student from Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2015 with a double major in U.S. Government and Spanish before working as an organizer around issues such as public education and voting rights. After a brief stint as an English teaching assistant in Spain, she decided to pursue a graduate degree with the intention of finding a career where she could use her analytical abilities to effect change. Her policy interests include economic development and social justice. She hopes to work on policies that will improve quality of life for people of color, the LGBTQ+ community, and other marginalized groups. In her spare time, she likes trying different restaurants around Los Angeles, baking, and playing The Sims.
