The Price Center has an immediate opening for a full-time Data Analyst/Project Specialist. This individual will provide data analysis and project management in support of the Neighborhood Data for Social Change platform, as well as the Homelessness Policy Research Institute.
The Data Analyst/Project Specialist will be responsible for developing independent research plans, coordinating faculty researchers and others, cultivating relationships with community organizations, supervising and mentoring the work of graduate student researchers, and representing Price CSI in a wide range of public meetings.
The Data Analyst/Project Specialist should be familiar with quantitative research strategies and STATA, as well as census data and administrative data. Additionally, the Specialist should be able to create data visualizations and conduct statistical analyses. Lastly, the Specialist must possess excellent project management and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Public Policy/Public Administration/Urban Planning, an advanced degree in an equivalent field, or a B.A. in a relevant field plus at least 5 years of relevant work experience. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytic thinking, comfort working with data and policy analysis, and be effective at oral and written communication of quantitative findings and other complex concepts. The candidate must be comfortable working on a team, demonstrate excellent writing/editing/proofreading capabilities, and have strong organizational and project-management skills. Experience in working on policy issues related to homelessness is a plus.
