Students of Color and Allies Policy Forum (SCAPF)

SCAPF is a space dedicated to constructive discussions and learning related to policies that affect communities of color. SCAPF hopes to create a space where University of Southern California students, community partners, and community members can come together to discuss issues of race and social justice in planning and policy. The main goal of SCAPF is to empower people to create change within their respective fields.

This year’s theme, Reclaiming our Roots: Identity and Resistance in Trump’s America, will engage participants to discuss and cultivate strategies for resistance.

Workshop Topics:

– Cultivating Food Justice in Communities of Color

– Rising from the Shadows: Digital Activism in the Undocumented Community

– Urban Space and Queer Place
